Ernesto Ruiz - Founder, Contributor, Moderator

Ernesto is a proud Puerto Rican who relocated to MN to study architecture. He lives in the Twin Cities with his wife where he also enjoys boating, dancing, camping, and as much travel as possible. His interest in photography was born in 1994 when he bought an EOS Rebel S for a student trip to Europe. Twenty years later he bought his first full frame DSLR and recommitted himself to pursue his passion for photography, focusing on travel and nature images. His emphasis on quality over quantity and on enjoying the experience were driving forces behind the formation of this collaborative movement.


Jennifer Renwick - Contributor

Jennifer left her previous career in 2016 to focus on her passion for nature photography and traveling. The natural world has always been her inspiration, and she brings attention to the smaller details of the landscape. She emphasizes on connecting with a place while photographing to create an image that in turn will create a more meaningful photograph and story for the viewer. She enjoys photographing natural abstracts, intimate nature scenes, wildlife and black and white landscapes. She lives in Ridgway, Colorado and travels full-time teaching nature photography workshops throughout the American West.


Beth Young, Contributor

Beth Young is a photographer and architect utilizing evidence based design principles in nature photography. Acutely aware of the impact that natural imagery and positive distraction can have on those in severely stressful surroundings, Beth’s passion has evolved over time to focus on nature photography for healthcare settings, and her work is featured in hospitals, clinics, psychiatric facilities and continuing care communities throughout California. Located in Sacramento, California, Beth’s visual aesthetic endeavors to capture exquisite light, design, and dynamics for enduring landscape images.
